Light on the metal and heavy on the soothing synthesizers, “A Glimpse of Glory” may be the most Brian Eno-esque black metal album I’ve heard. Even when the guitars are present in the mix, they are drowned out in the mix by the synths. It’s an interesting and certainly relaxing release that should please most fans of sparse, atmospheric black metal.
