Abrahadabra is the ninth studio album by Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir. The first single from the album, "Gateways", was released on August 20 in Europe and August 24 in North America. On September 14 a video for "Gateways" was released featuring Djerv front-woman, Agnete Kjølsrud. On September 17. the song "Born Treacherous" was released on Dimmu Borgir's official myspace for streaming.
L.i.E. is a 7-piece metal band from the land of Augusta, Georgia that is a little more than just a metal band. Comprised of two young guitarists and former members of popular Augusta bands Cycle, Jemani, The Haeighties, and 420 Outback as well as a recently added violinist, L.i.E. is influenced by everything from 60's psychedelia, 70's prog rock, 80's metal, 90's alternative, to turn of the century contemporary music in addition to classical and bluegrass.
If this track is anything to go by then this album will easily top their last three releases that were, in all fairness, pretty awful. Obviously Dimmu will still suffer from the knee-jerk torrents of hate from people who consider themselves above everyone else with their all-knowing selves intrinsically knowing this album to be awful, but if one can assess this track from an objective standpoint it’s very possible many people will find themselves enjoying what Gateways offers.
